The league will focus on skill development and small-sided games to help players improve their basketball skills, learn the game, and—most importantly—have fun playing with our Lady Wave coaches and players.

Sept. 15-Dot Day at DTW! We'll be celebrating creativity, courage, and making our mark! Inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, Dot Day reminds us that one small mark can become something amazing when we simply start, take a chance, and believe in ourselves!

Cross Country practice for DTW is canceled. Please contact the office if you need to make changes to your child's transportation.

We have reached the midpoint of the grading period! Please take a few minutes to check your child’s grades in Parent Portal and talk with them about their progress. Midterms are a great opportunity to celebrate successes and identify any areas where a little extra support may be needed.

We also want to share a friendly reminder that attendance matters! Every day at school gives your child valuable opportunities to learn, practice new skills, connect with their teachers, and grow alongside their classmates. Consistent attendance plays an important role in academic success.

The SPMS Parent/Archer meeting will be held in the David T Wilson Elementary gym on Thursday, Sep 17th at 6pm. 6th-grade students in the Meade County School District (regardless of their current elementary school), as well as 7th & 8th-grade students attending SPMS who are interested in joining the Archery team, and their parents/guardians are required to attend. Important paperwork will be distributed, physical forms will be accepted, and the coaches will go over additional details about the upcoming season.

The DTW and MCHS Parent/Archer meeting will be held in the David T Wilson Elementary gym on Mon, Sep 14th at 6pm. 4th- and 5th-grade students attending DTW, as well as 9th-12th-grade students attending MCHS who are interested in joining the Archery team, and their parents/guardians are required to attend. Important paperwork will be distributed, physical forms will be accepted, and the coaches will go over additional details about the upcoming season.
