November 6th (6th grade ONLY) - 5:30-7:30

November 10th (6th grade) 5:00 - 6:30 (7th and 8th) 6:30-8:00

November 17th (7th and 8th grade ONLY) 2:45-4:45

November 26th (ALL GRADES) 1:00-3:00

When attending open gyms, please wear the following:
6th Grade: White T-shirt
7th Grade: Black T-shirt
8th Grade: Green T-shirt

You must have an up-to-date physical and fill out the registration form prior to participating in open gyms. This will be turned in on the first open gym date you attend.

Any 6th-grade girls interested in volleyball, please see attached information.

All DTW students have free dress this week, 10/20 to 10/24 as a Bulldog Jog fundraiser reward. If you ordered a Fathead for your child, those pictures will be taken tomorrow 10/20. Thank you for your support!!

We ended the day with our Success Celebration! 🎉🐾 We took time to celebrate our students’ achievements both inside and outside of school, and we couldn’t be prouder of our Bulldogs!

🌟 Bulldog Shoutout! 🌟 We are so proud of our students who earned Positive Office Referrals in September for showing outstanding positivity! Their bright attitudes and kind actions make our school an even better place. Keep shining, Bulldogs—you’re making a big difference every day! 🐾

What’s better than raising money for our school? Getting to cover your teacher in SILLY STRING! 🤪🎉 Our top Bulldog Jog earners had the best time giving our brave teachers a very colorful makeover. Thanks to everyone who helped make the Bulldog Jog such a success—what a fun way to celebrate! 🐾

🐾🏃‍♂️🐾 Today our Bulldogs laced up for our annual Bulldog Jog! Students walked and ran to raise money for our school, and it was a HUGE success! 🎉 A big thank you to our amazing PTO for coordinating this event and to our wonderful volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly. 💙🍌 Special thanks to Kroger for donating bananas and to Sydney Smith Durham for donating water—our runners definitely appreciated it! We are so proud of our Bulldogs for their energy and school spirit. What a great day!! 🐾❤️💙

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are happy to announce that David T. Wilson is now enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards Program. This is an easy way to raise money for our school by doing something you probably already do… shop for groceries! It doesn’t cost you anything. You just have to enroll in the program.

To Enroll in the Kroger Community Rewards Program:
Visit http://www.kroger.com. Once logged into your Kroger account, click on Kroger Community Rewards. You can then search for David T. Wilson Elementary either by name or MP939 and click Enroll. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.

In order to participate, customers must have a registered Kroger rewards card account to link to David T. Wilson. If you do not yet have a Kroger rewards card, they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger.

REMEMBER, purchases will not count for David T. Wilson until after you register your rewards card.

Participants must swipe their registered Kroger rewards card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger rewards card when shopping for each purchase to count.

Moments ago, our school went into a lockdown after our Centegix  security badge system was activated. Our protocols were immediately followed, and all students and staff were quickly secured in safe environments. We later confirmed that the alert was triggered accidentally by one of our team members while waiting in the pickup line to get their grandchild. At no time were students in danger. We are grateful for the quick response of our staff and law enforcement, and we appreciate your continued support as safety remains our top priority.

DTW Bulldog Jog Fundraiser Update-Please register your child on FutureFund , (the online fundraising platform that we are using), by 9/26 and he/she will receive free dress on 9/29. Thank you for your support!

Thank you for the support of our mums fundraiser! Pickup dates are Thursday, September 25 from 3:15-5:45 p.m. and Friday, September 26 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
