We are sliding closer toward our winter break in more ways than one! Between snowy conditions and special events, we may not see classes on our normal schedule. If your child hasn't returned their library book/s yet, have them put them in their backpack so the book/s can be turned in when we are at school.
If you have children in Kindergarten or First grade, they will be bringing home a book to keep. They are choosing from discarded, older library books and books that have been donated to us. We are placing a sticker on the front with their name on it to help identify which book is theirs to keep.

Meade County Schools will be closed for in-person instruction on Friday, December 12, 2025, due to dangerous travel conditions.
Friday will be an NTI virtual learning day for all students. Students may access their assignments through the Meade County NTI Portal. All assignments will be posted on the NTI Portal by 8:30 a.m. All work should be submitted electronically or returned on the next school day.
If you have questions, please contact your child’s school or teacher. School staff will be available throughout the day by phone or email.

Seasons Readings from the library! This is a computer lab week, but book exchange will have a slight twist this week.. On Monday and Tuesday, the K and 1st graders will exchange books as usual, however on Thursday and Friday, we want the K, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade classes we have on those days to return their library books.

💚 🌊 Greenwave Spirit Week 💚 🌊 All week long, our students, staff, and community are invited to show their Greenwave spirit by wearing their Greenwave gear and celebrating what makes Meade County special. BHP students are asked to wear uniform bottoms with their Greenwave spirit tops!

Season's Readings! All classes will have library this week and will exchange books. If your child is in Mrs. Doyle's class, they will exchange books on Wednesday instead of Friday.

November Den Day Assembly! We celebrated 301 students with perfect attendance this month, Trustworthiness awards, Practice Makes Progress awards, had a Turkey Hunt and Den Day games for Bear Awards! 🎉🐻
